Analysis of Intergovernmental
Regional Planning Assessment: This line item includes the Town’s participation in the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission. This assessment rate comes to roughly $1,509 and is based on the Town’s population.
Wachusett Earthday: A new line item has been added to the budget this year due to the addition of the Wachusett Earthday Regional Recycling Program. Like the Regional Planning Assessment, our costs are based on population and comes to $2,145.
Total Intergovernmental expenditures: $3654 – an increase of 142.1% primarily due to the addition of a new line for Wachusett Earthday.
