Information about H1N1 flu vaccination clinic in West Boylston
The Board of Health will hold an H1N1 flu clinic at the Edwards School on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 4:30 p.m. Until 7:30 p.m..   This clinic is intended  for West Boylston residents in the following groups only:
 
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. groups 1 through 6 will be vaccinated. It is strongly suggested that residents in groups 1 and 2 arrive as close to 4:30 as possible as there are only 700 doses available for this clinic.
 
  1. Second dose for those who received the first dose from The West Boylston Board of Health in November.
  2. All children 6 month to 24 years of age..
Pregnant women up to 2 weeks post partum (including after pregnancy loss).
Household contacts and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months of age.
Household contacts of pregnant women in their third trimester to ensure their newborns go home to a safe environment
Healthcare personnel with direct patient contact.
Residents in groups 7 through 10 are asked to begin arriving at 6:00 p.m. as they are in a lesser risk group. 
 
     7.   Pulmonary (including asthma)
     8.   Cardiovascular (except hypertension)
     9.   Renal, hepatic, cognitive, hematologic, neurologic/neuromuscular or metabolic disorders (incl. diabetes mellitus)
     10. Immunosuppression (incl. that caused by medications or by HIV).
 
Additional clinics will be held as more vaccine becomes available.  If further information is desired, you may contact the Board of Health during regular office hours of 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. weekdays or call at 508-835-4710.
