Recycle your cell phones/batteries & help the Library!
1) The Town of West Boylston is proud to announce a partnership with Call2Recycle, a rechargable battery recycling program, to help remove this hazardous materials from the waste stream in an environmentally acceptable manner.  You should note that recyclable batteries should NOT be tossed in regular trash but recycled properly.

Rechargeable batteries accepted by Call2Recycle are: Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, Nickel Zinc, Lithium Ion and Small Sealed Lead weighing less than 11 lbs/5 kg each.  These types of batteries can be found in cordless power tools, cellular and cordless phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, two-way radios, camcorders, and remote control toys.

The Town's Cell Phone & Rechargeable Battery Recycling center is located outside of the Selectmen's meeting room in the Municipal Offices at 127 Hartwell Street.  There is no charge to dispose of these items and instructions are located on the collection box.

We would like to thank you for disposing of these items in the right manner and helping to make the earth a better and cleaner place.

2)  The Beaman Memorial Library is looking for your help!  Help support the Beaman Memorial Public Library by donating your gently used books, CDs, DVDs and videos for the annual book sale.  The library will be accepting donations on January 12 for the book sale, which will be held from April 8 to April 17.  The book sale is a fundraiser organized by the Friends of the Beaman Memorial Public Library and proceeds help pay for library programs for children and adults.  Please bring your donations to the main floor of the library.
