Do you know someone who might want to volunteer for a good cause. Below please find a plea for help from the Council on Aging. Please try to help if you can.
The COA is looking for someone to work in the kitchen on Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to 1PM, both days or one day! The work would include helping to package up Meal on Wheels to be delivered by our volunteer drivers to home bound seniors, as well as serving lunch to our congregate meal site participants. The meals come to us from the caterer in Worcester in pans, we then package and seal the meals on Wheels, and put the pans in our oven to keep warm for the in house participants. There is down time during the morning, and usually a 3 person crew working together to get the meals out. If interested, please call Marcia at the Senior Center 508-835-6916.
