The Town Command and Bandstand Committee was established by a vote of the Board of Selectmen on May 1, 1996. At their May 2, 2012 meeting, the Board of Selectmen, upon the recommendation of the Town Administrator, voted to reduce the membership of this committee to three.
This committe consists of three residents with the DPW Director and Town Administrator serving as ex officio members. Members of the committee are appointed by the Town Administrator for a term of one year.
Duties
The Town Common and Bandstand Use Committee will serve as an advisory committee and will set policies covering scheduling of events and setting fees for the bandstand and the commons. It operates under the Use of Town Common and Bandstand policy adopted by the Board of Selectmen on November 6, 1996.
