ARTICLE XXVIII PAYMENT OF INTEREST ON DELINQUENT MUNICIPAL CHARGES AND BILLS
In conformity with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 21 E, any board, committee, commission or officer of the town authorized by law or regulation to bill and collect fees or charges for municipal services shall charges interest at the same rate of interest charges for unpaid tax bills as authorized under the provisions of Chapter 59, Section 57 for all unpaid balances owed after the due date of such fees or charges, effective with the bills and charges incurred for municipal services
provided on or after July 1, 2001.
