August 26, 2010: The DPW has rebuilt the dump body one of its trucks that it recently had repainted. The dump body was repainted to preserve its service life: rust spots were removed, the entire body was sandblasted, then the metal was primed and painted.
These trucks require constant maintenance because they are exposed to harsh materials, especially salt in the winter time. This is part of an ongoing maintenance plan to preserve the service life of the Town's fleet.
