Prompt Payment Discount
All customers are eligible for a 10% discount off the cost of Delivery and Supplier Service charges if your bill is paid within 10 days after the date of billing. To be eligible for the discount, all of your previous bills must be paid in full. Payment made by mail will be accepted for the discount if it is properly postmarked within the discount period.
Payments
Bills are due when they are rendered and must be paid within 30 days from the billing date. If a balance remains after 60 days, 1.5% per month interest will be added to the unpaid balance. Collection and termination of service procedures will be applied in accordance with regulations set by the Massachusetts Department of Public Utility to all accounts that are not paid in full within 60 days from the billing date. If your service is disconnected, a charge of $35.00 will be added for re-connecting the service.
A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks, unless the return is due to a bank error.
