The Town of West Boylston is looking for members for a new committee, the Shared Services Committee, to advise the Town Administrator, the Board of Selectmen and Town Meeting on efforts to find new ways to continue to provide the very best services to the taxpayers and residents of the Town of West Boylston. Given the fiscal constraints facing all Massachusetts communities, and especially West Boylston, we continue to be confronted with difficult choices about which public services to reduce or cut in
order to meet budget constraints. Consequently, it is only prudent that the Town of West Boylston consider alternative ways of providing services through sharing with other governments before reducing services traditionally received by Town residents.
The Committee is expected to be made up of seven citizens of the Town who have a sincere interest in finding alternative ways of structuring our Town’s services. The Committee will include a member of the Board of Selectmen as well as a member of the School Committee.

Applications should be received by the Town Administrator by November 30th in order to ensure consideration for this important committee.
