The West Boylston Public Schools ("WBPS") invites sealed bids for "GENERAL STUDENT SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION."
Transportation services are for the three years commencing July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2014, with an option to extend the contract term, at the discretion of WBPS, for an additional two years, from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016. All bids must be in conformity with all pertinent statutes and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety has determined that no rate of pay for School Bus Operators can be prescribed according to M. G. L. Chapter 71 Section 7A (Prevailing Wage Law).
All bids must be sealed and labeled "GENERAL STUDENT SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION" and received in the Office of the Superintendent, West Boylston Public Schools, 125 Crescent Street, West Boylston, MA 01583-1098, not later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read.
The WBPS reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, when it appears to them that the best interests of the district are served by doing so.
