Public Safety Building Flat Roof Replacement Project
The Town of West Boylston is accepting sealed Bids for the project known as the Public Safety Building Roof Replacement Project.
Work consists of the removal and replacement of the roof of the Public Safety Building located at 39 Worcester Street, West Boylston. The roof is approximately 6,160 square feet in size. Specifications and bid forms are available at the Office of the Town Administrator, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Bids will be opened in the Office of the Town Administrator on May 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a bid bond, cash, or, certified check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
A Pre-bid conference and site visit will be held at the Public Safety Building on April 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. It is imperative that all prospective bidders have a representative in attendance.
A performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required, as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract price.
The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
