Rates effective April 22, 2010
Your bills for sewer usage, which are printed on a small white postcard, are sent out on a quarterly basis in January, April, July and October. Payment is collected by the Treasurer’s Office and is due 30 days after the bill is issued.
Sewer usage bills are calculated based on your water usage as recorded by the West Boylston Water District. If you feel that the water usage is incorrect, please contact the Water District.
Residential (with only 1 meter): Charged for 100% of their water usage at a rate of $0.00904 per gallon ($9.04 per 1,000 gallons).
Residential (with a second meter): Charged for 100% of their water usage on their 1st meter at $0.00904 per gallon & 100% of their usage on 2nd meter is deducted.
Commercial (with 1 meter): Charged 100% of their water usage at $0.01130 per gallon ($11.30 per 1,000 gallons) for first 20,000 gallons & $0.01530 per gallon ($15.30 per 1,000 gallons) for usage over 20,000 gallons per quarter.
Commercial (with 2nd meter): Charged 100% of their water usage on their 1st meter at $0.01130 per gallon for the first 20,000 gallons & $0.01530 per gallon for usage over 20,000 gallons per quarter & 100% of their 2nd meter usage is deducted.
Properties with non-metered wells: Charged for 13,000 gallons per quarter at $0.00904/gallon, which equals $117.52 per quarter.
NOTE:
THERE IS A $35.00 MINIMUM QUARTERLY CHARGE FOR ALL ACCOUNTS RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL.
